The operator companies trust to build what's missing – and get it done.

Fifteen years building and scaling finance, strategy, and operations – across global capital markets, high-growth consumer and fintech companies, and crypto-native infrastructure. Most recently I scaled and matured the finance function at Parity Technologies, the engineering organization behind Polkadot – and from there founded Polkadot Capital Group, its institutional capital markets and IR division. Earlier: BlackRock, Casper Sleep through its $476M NYSE IPO, Related Companies, and KAYAK. I also build companies of my own.

01 – About

The hard, unowned problem is the one I want – whatever the industry, whatever the model. I figure it out, and I deliver.

For fifteen years, companies have handed me what was unbuilt, unclear, or under-resourced and asked me to own it. I have done that at the world's largest asset manager, a real-estate developer with tens of billions under management, a consumer brand through its NYSE IPO, a global travel company, and most recently an engineering organization running across multiple international entities. Different industries, different stakes – the same role every time: read the business fast, build what it needs, and execute.

Most recently I scaled and matured the finance function for a multi-entity global organization, with board-level accountability – the team, the systems, and the rigor: stronger FP&A, treasury built from the ground up, ERP and AP automation (NetSuite, Tipalti, Planful), and a faster, cleaner monthly close. I hold that work to institutional standards: clear, accountable governance, custody-grade controls, audit-ready accounting, and board reporting an allocator can underwrite. It happened to be a crypto-native company – tokenomics, staking, stablecoins, ETPs – but the discipline travels anywhere, and I bring an AI workflow layer into the finance org wherever I land.

I build companies of my own, too. I co-founded imovum, an edtech company; co-founded and exited Pasta Life, a bootstrapped consumer brand; and am building a software product around a thesis I hold – that the moat under much of today's SaaS is thinning, and that teams should run powerful systems on their own infrastructure, with their own data under their own control.

02 – Experience

Different industries. One operating method.

Fifteen years – but never in one place. Travel, asset management, real estate, consumer retail, fintech, crypto, and companies of my own. Each one was a deliberate leap into a business model I had not run before. What travels is the method: read the business fast, apply the fundamentals, execute – and leave it better built than I found it.

Parity Technologies

2022 – 2026

Crypto · Open-source infrastructure

Scaled and matured the finance function across five global entities, accountable to the board of directors. Recruited and developed nearly the entire team, led internal and external accounting, and built FP&A, financial modeling, and reporting from the ground up – bringing institutional-grade controls, digital-asset reporting, and staking strategy to a treasury that had never had them. With that in place, founded Polkadot Capital Group, its institutional capital markets and IR arm – exploring structured products, advancing tokenization, and negotiating commercial agreements that gave institutions a credible way into a crypto-native ecosystem.

Co-founded, bootstrapped, and exited a consumer brand – the operator's seat across product, sourcing, logistics, operations, and finance.

CFO's Domain

2021 – 2022

Fintech · Advisory

Outsourced CFO to a venture-backed consumer fintech – turned scattered forecasting and reporting into a single source of truth for leadership, and battle-tested the assumptions underneath it to drive efficiency and cost savings.

Casper Sleep

2018 – 2020

Consumer retail · DTC

Helped carry a high-growth direct-to-consumer brand through its Series D and $476M NYSE IPO – and built the three-statement models and the financial story the underwriters and the S-1 were anchored on.

03 – Projects

Things built, not just roles held.

Stealth Software Product

In Development

A new AI-native financial software product, built on a simple thesis: as AI collapses the cost of building software, the moat under much of today's SaaS is thinning. One-to-one implementations are overdone and costly – and finance teams should have the tools to run powerful systems on their own infrastructure, with their own data under their own control.

Role – founder. [In stealth – more to come.]

Spektr

Built & Deployed

An enterprise platform I led from a basic tool in the Polkadot ecosystem to production-grade software for treasury and multi-entity operations – a secure address book, multi-sig approval flows, funds management, dashboard visualizations and workflows, audit trails, and admin portals.

Role – internal product owner. Scoped the workflows, shaped the UX, and led the build direction as the end-user expert, partnered with the external dev team's PM on execution.

Liquidity Provisioning Dashboard

Built & Operated

A proprietary internal tool overseeing DOT market-maker relationships across centralized exchanges – tracking liquidity depth, spread compliance, SLA adherence, and competitive positioning across counterparties in one view.

Role – defined the program, scoped the tool, owned the counterparty relationships.

Spectre Form

2020 – 2021

A racing-simulator cockpit company I co-founded during COVID and built end to end – creating the brand, securing product reviews from YouTube subject-matter experts, sourcing materials, and setting the marketing plan and sales strategy.

Role – co-founder. Took the brand to market and sold 50 units before winding the company down.

04 – Capabilities

Where I add value.

Finance Leadership

End-to-end ownership of the finance function across multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction organizations – FP&A, treasury, controls, systems, and board-level reporting.

FP&A Treasury Controls Board reporting NetSuite Planful Adaptive Systems implementation

Capital Markets & IPO

From three-statement modeling and S-1 narrative through institutional positioning and IR – the financial story underwriters and allocators can underwrite.

Institutional Digital Assets

The institutional translation layer for crypto-native organizations – tokenomics, staking economics, stablecoins, ETPs, custody, and tokenization.

Structured Products & Commercial

Building the products and commercial agreements that bring institutions in – exchange relationships, market-making programs, and counterparty negotiations.

06 – Pushing Limits

I don't stay comfortable for long.

In 2021 I earned my private pilot's license – 40+ flight hours in 14 days, the fastest anyone had run through that flight school's accelerated program. I've climbed active volcanoes in Ecuador above 18,000 feet, and completed the Machu Picchu trek. Different pursuits, one instinct: step into the unfamiliar, take the calculated risk, and see it through. I'm competitive by nature, and most alive on the steep part of the climb.
